Whoa… don’t get too excited there.

I got this idea from Don McMillan who does nerdy-based comedy. He made a joke about engineers being expressionless most of the time and it cracked me up. Finishing projects was always a relief for me. And oddly, starting a new project felt like a breath of fresh air. I would think, “This project won’t have the as many issues my last one did.” I was always wrong.

This comic is also the first set of strips where I’m trying to speed up the process. Both “Katabatic Winds” and “Machine Learning” took about 6 hours each to create. I wanted to try to see how much I can still express in these comics without all the tiny little details I added in the previous ones. I definitely sped up the process and I’m happy with the results so far.
